In projects requiring ’BIM’ we are often asked to define the ‘LOD’ of objects within Building Information Models. In the Client’s Requirements as well as in the BIM Execution Plan, we need to fill long spreadsheets where objects are classified in different classification systems and a ‘LOD’ is required at each stage.
But are we sure that the ‘LOD’ concept is clear to everybody? Is it always associated to objects? Are we managing it the best way? And most of all, how can we verify and validate it?
In this #BIMTalk, we will answer all these questions and attendees will discover how ‘LOD’ is defined in the main international standards and how to effectively implement it in your projects using the Level of Information Need concept introduced in the new BIM international standard ISO19650-1.
Despite what many people think, the ‘LOD’ is a complex concept that requires a deep knowledge in order to improve the entire workflow and avoid later claims.

Hello I missed to watch the lecture. Is there a way to watch it online?
The session was not recorded. You can only access the presentation document.
