African BIM Report (ABR) 2024
BIM Africa is thrilled to announce an open invitation to all architects, engineers, designers, and professionals in the construction industry to showcase their innovative projects in BIM and Integrated Digital Technologies. It’s an opportunity to share experience and know-how with the AEC community.
BIM transforms construction processes, fostering innovation, collaboration, driving industry standards forward, and enabling architects, engineers, and contractors to work seamlessly together in a shared environment. Additionally, its data-rich model facilitates better decision-making throughout the building’s lifecycle, from design to demolition.
Whether you’ve developed a revolutionary approach to sustainable design, implemented a collaboration process, or pushed the limits of BIM technology using multiple software, we want to celebrate your achievements and share your story. Your Implementation of processes and workflows will inspire others in the industry to embrace innovation and creativity in their work and will contribute to the advancement of BIM practices. You are invited to submit a case study to present your BIM and digital delivery adoption, whether on a project or within organizational strategic approaches.
To be qualified, case study needs to be:
- Located in Africa
- Finished in the last two years or in progress.
- Have evidence of specific BIM processes, standards or digital delivery usage during one or more life-cycle phase,
- Includes sustainability considerations

STAGE 1: Please send your expression of interest to submit a case study by filling in the information listed below and a 120-word proposal about your project using this link.

STAGE 2: Upon receiving approval of proposal, please provide around 800-1000 words highlighting the following:
- Very brief background of project / company
- BIM use aspects, in which lifecycle phase, along with any relevant images, videos, or documentation.
- Resources required, and standards utilized
- Measurable impact of BIM usage on project or organization success.
- Sustainability or circularity aspects considered or adhered to with evidences
- Which UN Sustainable Development Goals the project or case study aligns to
