One of the requirements in some countries within BIM and integrated Digital Delivery projects is the provision of classification for different objects/systems within the graphical and non – graphical information provided.
During this #BIMTalk session, Dr Noha Saleeb will discuss on Embedding Classification in Construction Projects. This session will delve into depths of the importance of the usage of classification systems, what they are and how to use them for different stages of the project lifecycle.
Dr Noha Saleeb is an Associate Professor in Construction & Creative Technologies, Middlesex University UK and a Business Development Strategist at BIM Africa. She is Programme Leader for International MSc Building Information Modelling Management focusing on innovative digital technologies, enhancement processes of design, information, project and construction management. Also Creator of BSc Architectural Technology programme.
Her research interests are in architecture and IT, specialising in 3D digitisation and BIM, currently investigating the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in design/construction, e.g. AI, Big Data analytics and Digital and Predictive Twins. Dr Saleeb is a practising architect providing consultancy in BIM design, construction and onsite project coordination, and has achieved many national and global awards. She is editor in chief of several journals and conferences, a steering Board member on several professional body committees, and has produced over 50 publications in Journals, Conferences & Books.
