After 8 months of learning, exploring, practising, and teaching the fundamentals of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in tertiary institutions across Africa, it’s time to finally select our winning team!.
We’re excited to announce that the Student Advocates team at Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture And Technology in Kenya would be conducting their BIM Awareness Forum this week. The event comes up on Thursday, 23rd May 2019 from 4.30-7.00pm at Technology House within the University campus.

The reluctance of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry in Africa to adopt Building Information Modelling (BIM) can be attached to two major reasons: Lack of Practical and Technical know-how and High cost of implementation. Although BIM promises a high return on investment when adopted, ignorance and lack of required skills remain a major hindering factor.
