The African BIM Report (ABR) 2024 Working Group is issuing a Call for Volunteers to invite individuals who are interested in joining our efforts and contributing their skills to the publication of the ABR 2024.
The African BIM Report is a bi-annual publication by the BIM Africa Research and Development Committee, focusing on assessing the progress and opportunities of digital technologies within the African construction industry. The first edition, launched in 2020, was released in both English and French, the second edition launched in 2022 was released in English, French and Arabic.
In this collaborative endeavour, we have several essential roles to fill:
Research Lead: A visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital technology in construction is needed to guide our research efforts and shape the direction of the ABR 2024.
Content Editors: Attention to detail and the ability to refine content to the highest quality are your strengths. As a content editor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the ABR 2024 meets the highest standards.
French Translators: Are you proficient in the French language? We are excited to offer the ABR 2024 to a broader audience and need talented translators to help us convey the report’s valuable insights in French.
Arabic Translators: If you are skilled in Arabic, your expertise can help us reach even more readers. Join us as an Arabic translator and make the ABR 2024 accessible to a wider community.
As a dynamic, future-focused, and thriving community, BIM Africa is well-positioned to champion the digital transformation of the built industry across Africa. By volunteering with the ABR 2024 Working Group, you will become part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team dedicated to assessing the progress and opportunities of digital technologies in the African construction industry. Your contribution will play a vital role in expanding our report’s reach and impact.
